The Real Housewives of Orange County's Shannon Beador - ahead of her DUI arrest in Newport Beach, California on Saturday evening in which she drove into a house - had gossiped about castmate Gina Kirschenheiter's past drinking and driving arrest in a recently-aired episode of the Bravo series.
In the episode that aired last month, the 59-year-old reality star was seen in a scene in which she spoke about Kirschenheiter's 2019 DUI arrest in a discussion with Jennifer Pedranti, 46.
Beador said that Kirschenheiter, 39, was 'about to get arrested' and that the three kids she shares with ex-husband Matthew Kirschenheiter - Nicholas, 10, Sienna, eight, and Luca, six - 'would've gone to Child Protective Services' if she hadn't intervened with her contacts with prosecutors.
The uncomfortable topic came up in the next week's show, as the ladies were carving pumpkins, as Tamra Judge, 56, told Beador that Kirschenheiter was aware she had been talking about the four-year-old incident.
Judge said: 'So I will have to tell you, Gina took me aside evidently, um, Jenn told her you brought up CPS at your party? That CPS was coming for her kids?'

Beador disregarded that her earlier words had been filmed for the Bravo reality series, and claimed that Pendranti had lied about the claims she had made in the prior episode.
Beador said: 'Jenn, you said that I said CPS was coming for Gina's kids? What are you talking about? I would never say that!'
'God strike me dead, that's when I know I didn't say something, OK? So stop stirring s*** up, Jen - Jesus Christ.'
In the segment, Kirschenheiter said that she was never in jeopardy of losing custody of her children following the drunken driving arrest.
'It is not true,' Kirschenheiter said. 'Nobody gets a DUI and then their kids are taken from them! Let's let this go.'
Kirschenheiter also refuted the notion that Beador said, claiming that police officers 'were scheduled to be' at her home to arrest her.
Kirschenheiter said: 'No they weren't, they weren't scheduled. How do you know? Did you clock in with the cops?'
Kirschenheiter said in a confessional segment on the show that she was upset by Beador propagating the untrue information about her.

'Shannon says s*** and then she wants to pretend that she didn't do it, and if you can say things that are that f***ing hurtful and not even remember you said it, you need to go f***ing check yourself into rehab,' she said.
In Kirschenheiter's 2019 arrest, she missed a court hearing and a bench warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest.
The no show was explained that Kirschenheiter's lawyer was not notified that a request to delay the hearing; a criminal defense lawyer Beador helped Kirschenheiter acquire got the warrant overturned.
In the confessional, a weepy Kirschenheiter explained why she was so upset about the claims.
'I have put my children before f***ing everything, so to insinuate the authorities would remove my children, that they would see me as an unfit parent, is f***ed up,' she said.
According to TMZ, Beador was arrested Saturday in the luxe Orange County city, as authorities said she hit a house, parked in the middle of a street and pretended she was walking her dog.
She was taken into custody in connection with DUI alcohol and hit and run, and subsequently released without bond. Her vehicle was seized by authorities.
