While reality fans are gearing up for Season 5 of Netflix's Love Is Blind, one of the couples from Season 4 has just split... two weeks after the After the Altar special.

Jackie Bonds, a 27-year-old dental assistant, revealed during an Instagram live session (captured by TikTok user RealityAshley) that she had split with Demas, a 31-year-old project manager.

Bonds revealed that Demas' last straw was when she went against his wishes and spoke with his ex-fiance Monica Rodriguez during the three-part After the Altar special, which aired September 1 on Netflix.

'Instead of ignoring it, like I was told by him, I ended up having a conversation with her, and that's the reason why we broke up,' Jackie said.

'I'm still sick about it, low-key, I love that man. I was like, "Damn, I had all these life plans with you, you know? And then you just don’t even care,' and I’m like, that’s crazy, over a conversation with somebody? It don’t matter,' Jackie added.

'I tried to fix it, I tried to mend it. I did everything I could, and what’s crazy is that looking back at these messages, I look like a begging ass b----,' Jackie continued, referring to text messages where she allegedly, 'begged' him to be with her.

'What's crazy is I ain't never begged nobody to be with me, I never been on no weird s**t to where I'm like, "Oh my God, be with me,"' she insisted.

She added that she was 'sick, like throwing up,' when she looked back at those messages, adding, 'Like, how am I begging? Like, that's crazy, but it is what it is.'

It was revealed during the After the Altar special that Josh and Monica got engaged during the pods, though it was never shown on camera.

After they split, Josh went on to pursue Jackie after she split with her own fiance, Mashall Glaze.

Monica and Jackie were said to be 'best friends' but Monica spoke out about Jackie and Josh's engagement on social media.

Josh later called Monica 'disrespectful' and a 'clout chaser' during their confronatation on the After the Altar special.

Jackie gushed about Josh during an Instagram Q&A back in May, stating, 'I always dreamed for a love like this. He really is my twin.'

'We both make each other laugh. He understands me, he is such a man of patience,” she wrote during an Instagram Story Q&A when asked what keeps her going.'

'He is my person I love him I’d marry him a thousand times over & have 49 kids with. The love I feel for him is unimaginable. Part of my chromosome, part of my DNA,' she said.

'As I cry & try to fight the world, he tried his hardest to defend me while hiding his pain,” Jackie explained. 

'In my times fighting I forgot about how it would affect him. I broke his heart and it harbors in my soul still,' she added.
