Terrifying Netflix adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher leaves fans in awe as spooky new trailer drops

And Mike Flanagan is back once again with a terrifying adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Fall of The House of Usher, set to air on Netflix on October 12.
The hotly anticipated mini-series - based on the original author's short story from 1839 - dropped a chilling trailer as fans were left in a mix of fear and astonishment.
The show follows siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher - played respectively by Star Strek sensation Bruce Greenwood and Donnie Darko star Mary McDonnell.
The duo have built a pharmaceutical business empire through nearly unbreakable privilege, influence and power but secrets start coming to light when some of the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying.

The wealthy family's reality begins crumbling and the past comes back to haunt them as heirs start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman known from their youth (played by Carla Gugino) - in a slew of sinister events.
Gruesome killings and supernatural elements won't be spared in this Netflix adaptation, which also features Flanagan's favourite Kate Siegel - who stunned viewers in The Haunting series and horror movie Hush and p
The brilliant cast also sees Star Wars sensation Mark Hamill, English star Rahul Kohli (iZombie), Marvel's Carl Lumbly, Sex Education star T'Nia Miller as well as several emerging actors.
Flanagan - who is known for being a master at crafting horror in movies and series - is known for movies like Absentia (2011), Oculus (2013), Hush (2016), and Before I Wake (2016).
Some of his runaway hit show include The Haunting (2018) and The Haunting of Hill House (2018) starring Victoria Pedretti, The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), and teen-horror show Midnight Club (2022).
